Our mission

Our logo for the Ageing Bone Research Program consists of three elements:

• The cane represents the clinical applications of our research programs.
• The bone represents the basic sciences research pursued at our laboratory.
• The forget-me-not flower has major significances throughout the history.

In summary, our major objective is the combination of basic and clinical research from a translational perspective in an attempt to find a potential cure for osteoporosis in elderly patients and to identify potential interventions for the prevention of falls and fractures in this frail population. All this from a humanistic approach.
