Profile: Mrs. Griselda Loza-Diaz joined the Ageing Bone Research Program team in May 2010. She holds an MSc degree in Clinical Research and has a background in basic sciences and aged care nursing. Her role in the Ageing Bone Research Program is to coordinate clinical services available to the elderly population as well as assist with the clinical research studies at Nepean Hospital.
Mrs. Loza-Diaz is currently coordinating and implementing the Fracture Care and Prevention Program at Nepean Hospital. This program is designed to intervene when the first osteoporotic fracture occurs in elderly patients. Patients with osteoporotic fractures are identified and provided with evidence-based recommendations to prevent further fractures.
