During August and September, the Faculty of Medicine is profiling opportunities in research.

On 25 August 2005, the Faculty’s Central Clinical School is promoting the research opportunities available at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and associated Research Institutes.

Research opportunities in respiration, cardiovascular health, the nervous system, endocrinology, international health, immunity and infection, liver and gastroenterology, renal medicine, pregnancy, skin diseases, behavioural sciences, cancer, blood disorders, stem cell therapy, bioinformatics and medical psychology will be covered and researchers will lead tours of laboratories and other research facilities.

This research information session runs from 3pm-6pm on Thursday 25 August 2005 at the Centenary Institute Lecture Theatre, Level 6 Building 93, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

On 26 September 2005 the College of Health Sciences is promoting research opportunities in the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
