Melanoma researchers honour Professor Bill McCarthy

The Sydney Melanoma Unit and the Melanoma Foundation of the University of Sydney are pleased to announce a Festschrift in honour of Professor Bill McCarthy, to celebrate his distinguished career and remarkable contribution to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of melanoma.

It will be held in the Kerry Packer Auditorium at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital from 9:00am to 4:00pm on Friday 29th July.

Topics will include:

• the history of melanoma management
• primary and secondary melanoma prevention
• imaging of melanoma metastases - current and future
• strategies for the management of metastatic melanoma
• immunotherapy for melanoma
• dermoscopy
• melanoma genetics
• medical oncology in melanoma

In addition to Professor McCarthy, who will reflect on his 40 years of melanoma research and management, other speakers will include:
