Dubbo - inaugural Alumni cocktail reception

On Wednesday March 15 over 100 alumni in Central West NSW attended an inaugural Alumni Cocktail Reception to hear invited speaker Dr Robyn Williams AM, DSc ’88 (Science Journalist and Broadcaster ABC Science Show), at the School of Rural Health, Dubbo Campus. Dr Williams presented on his career path, the ABC Science Show and on his new book on Intelligent Design.

It was a very entertaining evening and alumni enjoyed meeting new alumni and old friends. Building on recent support by a core group of alumni in Dubbo, alumni were advised of the exciting news that a new Alumni Chapter in Central West NSW will be established in 2006. Alumni can therefore look forward to additional alumni events and programs in the area. Dr Williams commented that throughout his career alumni have been a great source of support to him and that it was wonderful that an Alumni Chapter was starting up.
