Alumnus wins literary award

Dr Michelle Cahill (nee Carter), a Faculty of Medicine alumnus (1988) and practising GP, has won the award for Best First Book for her poetry manuscript in Interactive Press’ prestigious literary competition.

The Accidental Cage will be launched by poet Adam Aitken on Saturday 25 November (3.30pm for 4.00pm) at Gleebooks (Upstairs), 49 Glebe Point Rd, Glebe.
