Let's ride to work

Staff and students were encouraged to leave their cars at home today and enjoy the pleasure of travelling to work on two wheels.

National "Ride to Work Day", organised by Bicycle NSW, was designed to encourage more people to cycle to work and enjoy the health benefits.

The event was supported by the School of Public Health, the Centre for Innovation in Professional Health Education and Research, the Sustainable Campus Program and Sydney University Sport.

The University website contains a Central Sydney Bike Map providing safe cycle routes to the University and the centre of the city.
