Launch of new health care quality and safety online knowledge portal, ISQua Knowledge
The Workforce Education & Development Group (WEDG) of the Sydney Medical School was recently commissioned by the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) to create an online knowledge portal. The new website, ISQua Knowledge, was launched at ISQua's 28th Annual International Conference in Hong Kong in September. ISQua Knowledge features online discussions moderated by quality and safety experts, vodcasts, debates, resources, online workshops, and provides a platform for networking with global colleagues.
ISQua Knowledge is for anyone with an interest in health care quality and safety. Participation requires registration with ISQua Knowledge but it is free and open to all. The site aims to offer consistently new online activities and welcomes suggestions as well as individual and organisational offers of collaboration. Currently, the site is collaborating with USAID’s Health Care Improvement Project, the Canadian Patient Safety Institute (CPSI) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
