Below is relevant only to RNSH.
Transport/ Parking

RNSH is well located for access to public transport, both St Leonards train station and a number of bus services are within easy walking distance.

The parking at RNSH is charged at a casual parking rate. Please enquire at the Parking Office located in the main foyer of the hospital, adjacent to the Information counter, or contact them via RNSH switch 9926 7111. (NB. the EXIT gates are not manned so parking exit tickets must be obtained prior to exit.)
Cyclists are welcome to use the bike racks at the side of the Kolling building (Level 4), near the Library 24hr access room. A shower is located in disabled toilet facilities off the foyer, near the stairs to Level 5.
Computer Facilities / Common Room
RNSH:
Computers and printers are available in the Common Room, Level 4 Kolling building. Students need to supply their own paper.
The Common room is accessed by using your Area Health security pass. During business hours you can enter the Common Room via the foyer of the Kolling. After hours, you can enter the building via the external door on the side of the building near the library/ bike racks.
Students are expected to take responsibility in keeping the premises clean by clearing up after themselves when using the room. Any equipment and facility furnishing should be handled with care. Damaged equipment or furnishings should be reported to the NCS Administration office on Level 7. Any computer issues should be reported to the Uni Helpdesk on tel: 02 9351 6000 or email:
Lockers
RNSH:
Lockers and pigeon holes are located in the Common Room, Level 4 (ground floor) Kolling building. These should be cleared daily. Find an empty locker and follow the instructions for use.
Library
RNSH:
The Douglas Piper Library is located on level 4 (entry level) of the Kolling Building. It is one of five libraries that make up the NSLHD Library Service. Sydney Medical School students are able to access the facilities and borrow items from all the libraries in the service with a single membership. For further information please click here
Photocopying
RNSH:
There is a photocopier in the Douglas Piper Library 24hr room that students will have access to. Copy cards can be purchased from the front desk of the Library during opening hours. The students can then add money to the card as required (also during Library opening hours only at this stage). Receipts will be issued for card purchases and recharges.
