Biographical details

Angela Beaton is a Research Fellow (Health Policy) and Project Manager at the Menzies Centre for Health Policy. Her research is focused on improving outcomes for people with chronic illness and she is currently managing a health service mapping project in palliative care. Dr Beaton is an experienced academic manager and administrator with over seven years’ experience in teaching and research management and development in the higher education sector. In 2008, she was awarded the competitive Baxter Health Policy Award for Excellence from the University of Sydney. More recently, she was involved in establishing the Sydney Health Policy Network.

Research interests

Dr Beaton's research is focused on improving outcomes for people with chronic illness.
