Biographical details

Ariadna Recasensreceived her PhD in Neuroscience from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain. Her PhD research focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms of Parkinson’s disease and resulted in several highly cited papers. This includes a first-author publication in theAnnals of Neurologywhich was highlighted as a “Paper of the Year” in 2014. She then joined The University of Sydney as a post-doctoral fellow and currently applies her molecular biology expertise to understand the resistance of glioblastoma cell to cancer drugs.
