Research interests

Current research involves investigating the effects of the supplementation of a novel synthetic antioxidant on cellular and tissue damage occurring as the result of cardiac ischaemia reperfusion (I/R)injury, in both an in vitro cell culture system, as well as an in vivo rat model of cardiac I/R injury.
