Research interests

Dr Mulhall has been interested in HIV infection- clinical, behavioural, and laboratory aspects- since the early phase of the epidemic in the 1980's. He has also investigated the sexual health and behaviour of travellers; moreover, he is particularly interested in STI/HIV in the Asia-Pacific region. Recently, he has contributed to the design and operation of a computerized management system and database for STI/HIV.
