Biographical details

Dr Hoyos is a postdoctoral fellow in the Sleep and Circadian Research Group at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research and a Research Fellow in the Central Clinical School at the University of Sydney. She has a Bachelor and Honours degree in Applied Science (Consumer Science), focussed on nutritional science, a Master of Public Health with Honours, and a PhD in Sleep Medicine. She is an experienced clinical trialist and researcher, with over 10 years experience in the management of randomised controlled trials, particularly in respiratory health, sleep medicine and metabolic health. She completed her PhD within the Sleep and Cardio-metabolic Research Group at the Woolcock Institute in 2012.
