Biographical details

Chris is a Professor in the Sydney Medical School. He also holds a National Health and Medical Research Council of Australia Senior Research Fellowship. Chris leads a program of research focusing on the management of musculoskeletal conditions in primary care and community settings. This research is characterised by innovation, an interdisciplinary approach and an emphasis on simple treatments delivered well. Particularly committed to knowledge translation and health literacy, Chris has worked with local and international colleagues to develop information technologies that deliver the best research evidence to clinicians and health consumers.

Research interests

Chris is interested in the primary care management of low back pain and other musculoskeletal conditions.
