Research interests

I am interested in developing innovative molecular biology techniques to tackle complex real-world problems in biomedical research in particular: 1) detecting altered gene expression directly related to cardiac sinoatrial node ageing and heart failure; 2) identifying the signalling pathways participating in the response to glucocorticoids treatment in advanced diabetic retinopathy.
