Biographical details

My research focuses on cross-disciplinary impacts of health inequality. I have a background in applied economics that stretches across numerous disciplines including health, environmental and welfare economics. At the University of Sydney I am leading my own research program focusing on multidimensional poverty measurement that is bringing Australia in line with international best practice, and the follow-on policy implications that is novel in the international field. I am also part of a team that is leading international best practice in modelling of the impacts of health on the labour force participation of individuals and flow on impacts to government and to the economy.
