Biographical details

I am an early career researcher at the School of Public Health, University of Sydney.I completed my undergraduate degree in Education, Master of Public Health with Honours and PhD at the University of Sydney. My PhD was titled "Internet randomised controlled trials: An evaluation of their uses, limitations and biases". I have over 10 years of experience teaching Epidemiology to undergraduate and post graduate students.

My research interests include epidemiological research methods, physical activity across the life span, and the use of the internet and other technologies as a means of increasing physical activity levels, particularly in adolescents.

I have recently completed a qualitiative study investigating the barriers and enablers of adolescent females towards physical activity, and am conducting a systematic review on the use of technology, combined with personal interaction to enable behaviour change in adolescents.
