Biographical details

Jocelyn is a post-doctoral researcher with a PhD in human neurophysiology, a Bachelor of Human Movement Science (with Distinction), and a Bachelor of Science (Honours I). Her research interests have focused on determining physiological mechanisms and effective manangement strategies for physical impairments, in particular, disabilities or injuries resulting from neurotrauma (stroke and spinal cord injury), medical conditions, or age.

Jocelyn is currently the Trial Coordinator for a large multi-disciplinary clinical trial which is trialling a new model of service delivery to help people with severe pain arising from knee osteoarthritis (PARTNER study). The study aims to help both GPs and their patients to successfully manage this chronic condition without resorting to surgery.

Current projects

Optimising primary care management of knee osteoarthritis: The PARTNER project.
