Research interests

I am a medical doctor and researcher with an engineering background. My passion is to apply an engineering technique called "failure mode and effect analysis" (FMEA) in the framework of anatomy, physiology, and clinical science. I advocate a modified FMEA (mFMEA) method for use in medicine as illustrated in my editorial paper (with updated figure) accessible at thefollowing website https://www.researchgate.net/publication/299760713_How_to_apply_clinical_cases_and_medical_literature_in_the_framework_of_a_modified_failure_mode_and_effects_analysis_as_a_clinical_reasoning_tool_-_an_illustration_using_the_human_biliary_system
