Biographical details
Koshila is a Lecturer in Medical Education in the Office of Medical Education. She has recently submitted her PhD thesis which explores health researchers' lived experience interdisciplinary research in the higher education setting.
Research interests
Koshila's research interests and expertise are in the broad field of health professional education/medical education and include interdisciplinary research; interprofessional education; community-engaged education; career pathways and aspirations; student selection; professionalism; identity; and qualitative methodologies. She is currently active in a number of collaborative research projects in these domains
Teaching areas
Koshila is involved in teaching on the Master of Education (Health Professional Education) program. In particular she coordinates the Scholarship of Teaching unit of study which aims to give students insight to the nature of scholarly evidence in health professional education. She also co-cordinates the Independent Studies unit within the Master of Medical Education program
