Research interests

Epidemiological methods for screening, diagnostic test evaluation and meta-analysis.

Les is especially interested in the application of epidemiological methods to provide the evidence on which to base Public Health and Clinical decisions. His particular area of expertise is the assessment of screening and diagnostic tests through systematic review (meta-analysis) and the conduct of new studies.
