Research interests

Lindy is a Pharmacist academic currently undertaking post graduate study examining the barriers and facilitators to the delivery if Home Medicine Reviews in Aboriginal and Torres strait Islander Communities. Lindy teaches pharmacy and medical students in Aboriginal Health, Rural Health, Quality Use of Medicines and optimal medication utilisation. Lindy organises extended multi-disciplinary rural pharmacy placements that teach excellence in communicaton, clinical practice and patient centred care. Lindy also organises CPD educational events for rural health pratictioners.

Apart from her teaching and mentoring role, Lindy works in an Aboriginal Medical Service and writes rural policy and guidelines for the Pharmaceutical society of Australia.
