Research interests
Health professional education, educational models, development of reflective practitioners, developing prescribing skills among medical students, usage (or not) of evidence in pharmacology and therapeutics to patient treatment, health education for consumers, peer education, peer support, understanding people's use of prescription and complimentary medicines, medication usage patterns in people with chronic conditions, promoting medication safety among lay people and health professionals, use of participatory research methods.
Currently involved in the following research projects:
* research attributes and aspirations among medical students;
* appropriate prescribing of medication for diabetes;
* enhancing recovery of seniors following hip fracture;
* evaluation of appropriate educational models for paediatric radiation oncology;
* educational models for promoting reflective medical practitioners
