Biographical details

Maliheh Ghadiri, is currently holding Ann Woolcock fellowship at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research. She is also guest lecturer at the University of Sydney, school of pharmacology. She completed her PhD studies in 2016 on the use of Nanosilicate as a biomaterial at the University of Sydney. She has published more than 25 papers in international journals and conference proceedings including four book chapters on pharmaceutical Sciences. She has supervised two PhD students and 15 postgraduate students at the University of Sydney and Woolcock Institute. She is chair of next generation of researchers at the Woolcock institute and secretory and communication manager of Australian controlled released society (Aus-CRS). Her current research focus is on pulmonary drug delivery systems with particular interest in the application of lung on a chip model.
