Biographical details
Michele Daly is a Research Fellow with the Broken Hill Department of Rural Health. She is based at the Sydney Medical School - Northern's Academic GP Unit at Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Hospital.
Research interests
Michele has worked in the area of physician well-being and support over the past 15 years, in particular with students and new medical graduates. Research interests have included work-life balance, psychological morbidity and burnout, and the affects of medico legal matters on doctors and how practice is affected. Current interests include rural extended placements for medical students, with regards to enablers and barriers to rural career intention, and also how rural placements can better prepare students for future practice.
