Biographical details

Michael is an Emergency Physician at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Co-Director of Trauma Services since 2006.

His research interests include trauma and emergency systems, road trauma victimsand the impact of population ageing on emergency service utilisation. He graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1997, and a Master of Public Health (Quantitative Methods) from Harvard University in 2011. He is currently undertaking Doctoral studies with Professor Ivers at The George Institute for Global Health investigating outcomes in trauma patients and the role of early supported discharge in trauma patients.
