Biographical details

Nicole Wong Doo is a clinical and laboratory haematologist at Concord Hospital and an Honorary Research Associate at the Cancer Epidemiology Centre, Cancer Council Victoria. Nicole completed her haematology training in Sydney, followed by a fellowship at the PeterMacCallum Cancer Institute in Melbourne. Her major research interest is investigating the role of DNA methylation in multiple myeloma and B-cell non Hodgkin lymphoma which she is undertaking as part of a doctoral research degree with the University of Melbourne.

She continues her activity in clinical trial research and with epidemiological research as part of the Improving Management by Participatory Research in Oncology; a Victorian Experiment (IMPROVE) research group and Epidemiology of Multiple Myeloma in Australia (EMMA) study.

She has an interest in global health with experience on the Thailand/Burma border as a clinician and trainer with Australian Volunteers International.
