Biographical details
I was formerly the inaugural Dean’s Fellow in Dermatology at Sydney Medical School and completed my dermatology training in New South Wales. My background is in clinical and translational research in dermatology and dermatopathology.
Research interests
My current scientific pursuit at the cellular level combines cutting edge intravital imaging and multi-parameter flow cytometry with sophisticated mouse models to visualise and functionally characterise immune cells in vivo. I remain active in clinical and translational research at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital with a number of projects underway.
Current projects
1. Defining mast cell functions in skin.
2. Defining the function of group 2 innate lymphoid cells in human skin.
3. Immune composition in normal human skin and patients with inflammatory skin diseases.
4. Personalised medicine in dermatology therapeutics
