Research interests
Cardiovascular disease, especially inherited heart disease and disease of the aorta. Clinical and research programs active include basic science research in proteomics, cell signalling and pathology of the aorta and clinical research in hemodynamics, imaging and clinical trials.
Teaching areas
Cardiovascular and heart disease, including PBL tutoring, lectures for Med I and Med III, clinical teaching for Med I cardiovascular sessions and supervision for clinical attachments in Med III (and yes being an examiner). Also research supervision and mentoring for Honours and Phd students.
