Biographical details
Dr Samantha Lain is a perinatal epidemiologist and NHMRC Early Career Research Fellow with qualifications in Health Sciences, Epidemiology and Economics. She currently works in Perinatal Epidemiology and Policy Division at the Menzies Centre for Health Policy. Her research interests include; examining infant health service utilisation, childhood education and developmental outcomes using large linked population-based datasets. Her current postdoctoral fellowship is assessing the impact of newborn screening results on childhood neurodevelopment.
