Biographical details

Dr Saad's research interest is in progressive renal disease and metabolic disease. She has published 33 papers in the relevant research area since she finished her PhD in 2002 while working on a part time basis. Sixteen papers were published in the last 2 years (Last author on 11 publications). She has expertise in diabetic kidney disease, fibrosis, oxidative stress, mitochondrial function and mitochondrial DNA quantitation. She has successfully supervisedseveral PhD and Masterstudents.
