Biographical details
Dr Teresa Senserrick is Deputy Director, Injury Division, The George Institute and Senior Lecturer, The University of Sydney. Her training was in Developmental Psychology (The University of Melbourne) and she has 20 years experience in health and safety research, with over 10 years in the field of road safety. Teresa is internationally renowned for her expertise in young and novice driver research, particularly regarding driver training, education and graduated licensing, and has been called upon to provide policy advice to several jurisdictions in Australia and The United States and in Sweden. Teresa now includes a focus in her work on disadvantaged youth and communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Australia and novice drivers in China. She was recently awarded a National Health and Medical Research Council of Australia Career Development Award.
