PMRI basic research facilities are located on the campus of the Royal North Shore Hospital.
Our basic research is conducted on Level 13 of the Kolling Building, opened in 2008.
This provides high quality laboratory space and a superb work environment, including sweeping views of Sydney Harbour.
Our basic research facilities include:

- Fluorescence microscopy
- Histology, including cryostats and freezing microtomes
- Tissue culture
- Cell and molecular biology
- Behavioural assays
