Study programs

Master of Public Health develops skills essential for the effective practice of public health. Graduates will be able to determine the nature of community health problems, and bring together the necessary services to deliver them.

Graduate Diploma in Public Health requires a shorter period of study and has more flexible entry requirements. An option to upgrade from the GradDipPH to the MPH is available once you complete 24 credit points of coursework.

Master of Public Health (Professional Practice) allows you to extend your MPH coursework with workplace practicum. Students will undertake 12 additional credit points of study/training in a supervised professional placement. To be eligible for the MPH(Professional Practice) you will need to already be enrolled in the MPH degree, and have achieved a weighted average mark (WAM) of at least 75% in the first 24 core credit points of coursework. Expressions of interest must be submitted by 31st August. MPH(Professional Practice) is not available to international students.
