The Motor Accident Authority of NSW has funded an update and review of the evidence for managing Acute Whiplash Disorder. The new guidelines should be completed in 2006.

Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Care of People Living with Traumatic Brain Injury in the Community
This project was funded by the Motor Accident Authority (MAA) of NSW and consists of two evidence-based documents for use in general practice – a complete report and a summary of key points. Hard copies can be requested from Dr Lyndal Trevena.

Dr Trevena was a member if the Acute Low back Pain Review Group for this more comprehensive summary of the evidence for managing musculoskeletal pain endorsed by the NHMRC. The documents (including consumer factsheets) can be viewed at this site.
