A W Morrow Gastroenterology and Liver Centre

The A W Morrow research laboratories exist within the Centenary Institute for Cancer Medicine and Cell Biology. Methodologies include gene cloning, DNA microarray, recombinant protein expression, RTPCR for the detection of tissue cytokines, immunohistochemistry and FACS analysis.

Our areas of research include:

• Molecular Analysis of the Dipeptidyl Peptidase IV Gene Family
• Immunobiology of Liver Tolerance
• Molecular Analysis of Liver Injury including Hepatitis C infection
• Clinical Research in the areas of Liver failure, Liver transplantation, Hepatocellular Cancer, Chronic viral hepatitis and Inflammatory Bowel Disease
