The goal of the Sydney Health Professional Education Research Network is to position the University of Sydney as a national and international leader in medical and health science educational research and development. The membership are broadly active in the following arenas

Research and Development
with expertise in the scholarship of learning and teaching, e-learning, clinical education, assessment, patient safety education, and professionalism.  

Continuing Professional Development
For our teachers, the wider medical and healthcare workforce and for fostering future leaders in healthcare education and research. 

Service Delivery/Consultancy in Curriculum and Program Design
Using evidence based research and practice in healthcare education. 

Interprofessional learning
Promote and encourage opportunities for interprofessional learning and multidisciplinary teamwork among staff, practitioners and students. 

Community Engagement
Representing the values and commitment of the University within the medical and health science education and training community both locally and internationally. 


Sydney Health Education Research Network Showcase - 19 July 2018


This interdisciplinary event will contain oral presentations on innovative practices in education and research; and provide opportunities to network and share insights with colleagues from across the health professions.
