The Degree Programs in Sleep Medicine have been developed to address the current gap in formal sleep education, and provided comprehensive and contemporary education through a distance education platform.

Postgraduate study options
The coursework is conducted online using the Blackboard Learning Management System. The coursework component roughly equates to a time commitment of 8 hours per week over four 12 week semesters.
It is a requirement that the student first enrol in the Graduate Diploma in Sleep Medicine and then transfer to the Masters Degree, if desired, in the second year of study.
Candidates are also invited to participate in a residential one week course each year at the University of Sydney.
Credit Points (CP)
All of the units of study within the course have been allocated a number of credit points. For the Graduate Diploma 36 credit points are required for completion of the degree and 48 credit points are required for the Masters degree.
