Sleep Scoring Bootcamp
Advanced Sleep Technology
Fundamentals of Sleep Medicine 23rd to 27th November, 2015

Sleep Scoring Bootcamp (2 day course)

This two day course is an intensive introduction to the analysis of adult sleep studies and is designed for sleep technologists who have very little scoring experience. Technicians who are contemplating or starting the transition to sleep scoring would benefit most from this course. However, we have also found that people who have been scoring for a while also significantly benefit.

The course will include lectures and extensive practical sessions to familiarize attendees with the current AASM scoring guidelines and the application these scoring rules.

Participants are assumed to be working in the sleep medicine field, have at least a rudimentary knowledge of the signals in polysomnography and basic computing knowledge.

This course can be undertaken as a standalone course or as a follow up to the Fundamentals of Sleep Medicine short course. The Masters /Graduate Diploma Courses in Sleep Medicine are also available, which are all offered through the University of Sydney.

The next course will be held at the University of Sydney in the first half of 2016. The date is not yet set. If you would like to be advised of the course date when it is established, please click here to register your interest. We will then be in contact when a date is set, and confirm if you are able to attend.

The programme for the previous course is available here.

Registration cost (includes lunch): $850

***Places are limited to ensure low tutor to student ratios which maximises learning opportunities***

While we provide a certificate of attendance, this course does not qualify you to score sleep studies, as no Australian sleep scoring qualification exists.
