The Discipline of Sleep Medicine offers intensive short courses that can address your specific field of interest. If you require an overall introduction to sleep medicine, are specialising within your chosen field or need CME or BRPT continuing education points courses will be available.

Fundamentals of Sleep Medicine Course

This week long course covers all aspects of sleep medicine and technology, including lectures and practical tutorial sessions on digitising, filtering and analysing physiological signals. This course can be undertaken as a standalone course or as an introduction to the Masters Degree and Diploma Courses in Sleep Medicine offered through the University of Sydney. Not only are you taught about current practice in sleep science but you will be introduced to new and exciting advances for the future.

This course is an intensive introduction to the field of Sleep Medicine. It is essential for all those new to the field and recommended for those who would like to refresh their knowledge base.

In addition to full enrolment, registration for whole day and single lecture attendance is possible. The next course will be held from the 25th to the 29th November, 2013.

2012 costs were:
Australian/New Zealand sleep technologists: $2,000
Overseas applicants and sleep/allied professionals: $2,400
Whole day attendance: $500
Single lecture: $120
