Research Publications Database
The Research Publications Collection (RPC) is a central database developed by Sydney Medical School, where details of research publications by the Sydney Medical School staff and affiliates can be recorded. It is used to compile research publications data to report to DIISR, to contribute publications information to individual staff profile pages and to compile other information about research activity within the Sydney Medical School. The data is also used to calculate the distribution of funding to schools and other centres.
RPC searches PubMed and Scopus to collect publications written by Medical School staff and affiliates, as well as those written by staff and affiliates of the Faculties of Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy and the School of Molecular Bioscience. Individuals need to confirm the details of publications collected and identify any publications that have not been collected by the system.
