Sydney Medical School's web presence encompasses a large number of websites representing internal schools and disciplines, research units, institutes, centres and laboratories. Sydney Medical School is also actively represented in social media such as facebook and youtube.

Website requests and maintenance
The Faculty has adopted a Web Presence Policy, developed by the Web Presence Development Committee, to assist in the timely and consistent development and maintenance of the faculty-wide online presence (including websites, sections thereof and social media participation).

In keeping with that policy, all requests for new websites or pages within existing websites should be emailed to for consideration and authorisation.
Such requests must include:
• Scope of the request (size of site)
• Purpose of the request
• Relevance of the request
• Name(s) and details of staff who will maintain the new site

Faculty staff who are responsible for maintaining any portion of the web presence should also join the medicine web forum, an email list which provides direct support and training to CMS users.
