Psychiatry

Study Psychiatry at the University of Sydney

The Psychiatry program helps you to develop a sophisticated understanding of the neuro-scientific basis of psychiatry, and acquire expertise in critical appraisal and research design.

You will learn how to translate research into clinical practice, and develop interdisciplinary clinical and research professional networks. Facilitated by experts, classes are presented in small groups and supported by online learning.

The course includes an elective capstone experience in an area of advanced study. Options include a research project which may be used to fulfil Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) requirements or a range of coursework units.
