Sleep medicine is a sub-specialty that impacts a number of fields, including respiratory medicine, cardiology, neurology, dentistry and psychology.

Designed for professionals already working in the area of sleep medicine, or for graduates wishing to embark on a career in the field, the sleep medicine program at Sydney Medical School aims to provide up-to-date information on theory and practice through distance education. This program provides training in clinical, theoretical and research techniques and aims to establish criteria for best practice in the field.
