VELiM provides consultative services to the University and to the wider community.

This happens in two main ways.

First, VELiM provides advice on ethical and sociocultual issues relevant to health and biomedicine and/or access to expertise in ethics, the medical humanities and health social sciences.

Second, it provides forums for exchange of ideas between local and international scholars and members of the public who share an interest in ethics, social and biomedical research and their application to practice.

If you wish to contact the Centre to enquire about a consultation please contact the Director, Associate Professor Ian Kerridge on +61 2 9036 3405 or email
