Elective Fees

Clinical School Fees
AUD$900 for a 4 week placement
AUD$1100 for a 5 to 8 week placement

For students wishing to stay longer than 8 weeks the fee is A$500.00 for each week of their stay (including the first 8 weeks), ie the cost of a 16 week stay would be $8,000.
Not applicable to Australian medical students

It is assumed that overseas elective students from non-English speaking countries will have an advanced level of English proficiency before commencing an elective attachment.

Please carefully read and complete the Elective Application Package, sent via email by Elective Officer, in conjunction with any additional information or instructions from the Clinical School. No student will be allowed to begin an elective placement unless all documents on the Checklist for Application have been received by the Clinical School Elective Coordinator.
