About the Mekong Research Group
The Mekong Research Group (AMRC) is a focal point for data and information, international scholarship and policy-oriented research, training and outreach, and discussion and debate on development and environment issues in the Mekong Region. Established in 1997, AMRC has achieved a reputation as a leading centre of regional expertise, and it has also established a name in fields such as transboundary water governance.
AMRC is based at the School of Geosciences, University of Sydney. AMRC also involves and serves the wider community within Australia and overseas with interests and involvement in the Mekong Region.
