AMRC library
|
The AMRC Library collects resources covering mainland Southeast Asian environment and development issues. The library contains theses, books, newsletters, governmental and non-governmental material, reports, journals, magazines and CD-ROMs. While contemporary reports and documents can be downloaded from the websites of various institutions and organisations, AMRC stores printed copies of various documents as well as older material not available on websites.
Catalogue: Materials in the library can be searched in the library database (endnote) using computers at the AMRC office. No internet-based search engine for AMRC library materials is currently available, but if you are looking for specific material, you can call or email to check if it available before visiting the library.
Thesis Collection: We have an extensive assembly of Honours, Masters and PhD theses on Mekong related issues available for use, most of which are not online. Please see the full list here.
Opening Times: The library is generally open from 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday (closed 1-2pm for lunch). However, it is better to call or email first if you are coming from outside the university as the hours may vary from time to time.
Location: Rooms 470 and 468, Madsen Building (Fo9), the University of Sydney, NSW 2006, Australia.
