Collections from other regions
Collections from regions other than Australia and the Pacific are not a strength of the Macleay holdings. In some instances countries are represented by single ethnographic objects or historic photographs.

Mexico, Canada, USA, Peru.
Africa
Cameroon, South Africa, Namibia, Ghana, Egypt, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
Europe
England, Russia, France, Denmark.
There is also a small amount of European-Australian historic material, mostly associated with collectors and donors, including personal memorabilia, fieldwork equipment and research related materials.
