Adult Education Program

There are a number of options available for adult groups that wish to visit Sydney University Museums.

Many adult groups have participated in University Museums Education Programs over the years, including Probus groups, University of the Third Age groups, ADFAS groups, University and TAFE students, art, design and drama students, historical societies, walking groups and retirement villages.

We can accommodate small groups of just a few students or much larger groups. Most visiting groups choose either the three-hour or two-hour options, but we can negotiate a unique visit if your group has specific requirements.

Three-hour Visit:

A standard full-day visit to one or more museums usually consists of either 1.5 hours in the galleries, a break for lunch (not provided), and then 1.5 hours in hands-on sessions, or three one-hour sessions in different galleries across the collection. Times are flexible, but many groups book for 10am–2pm.

Cost: $18.00 per person (inc. GST).

Two-hour Visit:

A standard half-day visit to one or more museums usually consists of one hour in the galleries and one hour of hands-on sessions or other activities. Times are flexible.

Cost: $14.50 per person (inc. GST).
